Aisling Baile Inc. (identified as “Aisling Baile” for the remainder of this policy) is committed to maintaining the confidentiality and security of your personal information, collecting it in a responsible manner and only to the extent necessary to provide the quality of services to our members and customers. We strive to be open and transparent in how we handle your personal information.


This policy outlines the type of personal information we collect and receive, the circumstances in which we collect or receive personal information, the policies and procedures we have established outlining the use and storage of personal information, and for sharing certain types of personal information in some limited circumstances, the procedures you should follow if you have any questions or requests in respect of your personal information or our policies and procedures and the person whom to direct such questions or requests, and the means by which to communicate with that person.


The words ‘we’ and ‘Aisling Baile’ do not include third party owners or third parties involved in the delivery of services.


In this policy, personal information means information that can be explicitly used to identify and/or contact you as an individual. This includes information about you that is personally identifiable including your full name, mailing address, e-mail address, credit card number or phone number. This policy also includes information on guest preferences and usage, when such information is supplied to or recorded by Aisling Baile in the course of transacting business with an individual.


This Privacy Policy also applies to information regarding Aisling Baile's corporate customers and those collected through proposals and contractual arrangements.


INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect or may collect several types of information from and about you, other Guests of the Units and other Users, including:


  • Information by which you may be personally identified, such as name, e-mail address, address, phone number and other information from your driver’s license or passport (“personal data”);
  • Information that you provide in making a reservation for a Unit;
  • Information that you provide when you check-in, including information that is collected when we scan your ID (e.g., license, passport, etc.);
  • Information relating to the use of the Unit;
  • Financial and billing information;
  • Information that is about you but individually does not identify you, such as IP address and date and time of visit;
  • Usage details and information, including how you communicate with other Users;
  • Device, internet and mobile information such as the hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, browser type, language, wireless network, and mobile network information (including the mobile phone number);
  • When you report a problem with a Unit, the Sites or any of the other Aisling Baile Services;
  • Records and copies of your correspondence (including e-mail addresses), if you contact us;
  • Details of transactions you carry out through the Sites or any other Aisling Baile Service; and
  • Your search queries on or through the Sites or any other Aisling Baile Service.




HOW WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

  • By making a reservation on-line, by telephone at an Aisling Baile property, or with a recognized Aisling Baile partner.
  • By completing our guest portal screening process (for applicable channels only.)
  • By sending your personal information through a contact form. Your personal information will be used by us exclusively to process your request.
  • By registering with Aisling Baile and its monthly email newsletters.
  • By communications with Aisling Baile regarding service delivery, such as a comment card or e-mail.
  • By participating in a marketing initiative (e.g., online contest).


HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We will only use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal data for the purposes described in this privacy policy and when applicable law allows us to do so. We will generally use your information based on the following legal grounds:


  • Where the use of your information is necessary for the performance of a contract that we are about to enter into or have entered into with you;
  • Where the use is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests (or those of a third party);
  • Where we need to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation; or
  • Where we need to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation; or
  • Where you have given your consent (which can be withdrawn at any time).


We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us for the following purposes:


  • To provide you the Units, the Sites and other Aisling Baile Services and the other services and products that you request from us.
  • To provide you with notices about your reservation.
  • To manage Guest services and requests while staying in a Unit.
  • To provide the Sites and their content to you.
  • To provide technical and other support to you.
  • To solicit reviews.
  • To generate leads
  • To send you promotional communications, such as providing you with information about the Units, services, features, surveys, newsletters, offers and events and providing other news or information about us, our customers and our select partners; provided that you have given your consent if required by applicable law.
  • To enable Service Providers to perform certain responsibilities and provide certain services in connection with our business and operations.
  • To fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it.
  • To carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from the Terms and any other agreements entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection.
  • To notify you about changes to the Units, the Sites and the other Aisling Baile Services.
  • To allow you to participate in interactive features on or through the Sites or any other Aisling Baile Service.
  • To enhance the safety and security of all of the Sites and the other Aisling Baile Services.
  • To verify your identity and prevent fraud or other unauthorized or illegal activity.
  • To enable marketing, remarketing and targeted advertising and similar services from us or Service Providers, including direct and indirect marketing and on-line behavioral advertising regarding our own and third-party products and services that we believe may be of interest to you, including advertisement on third party websites; provided that you have given your consent if required by applicable law.
  • To perform targeted and other advertising on third party websites.
  • In any other way we may describe when you provide the information.
  • For any other purpose with your consent.


We may also use any information that has been anonymized or in an aggregated form that does not directly identify you for any purpose (including to create and distribute marketing materials such as testimonials, case studies, white papers, savings calculators, etc.) to the extent not prohibited under any applicable law or regulation.


Some of the information that we collect automatically is statistical data and does not include personal data, but we may maintain it or associate it with personal data we collect in other ways or receive from third parties or you provide to us. It helps us to improve the Units, the Sites and other Aisling Baile Services, and to deliver a better and more personalized service, including enabling us to:


  • Estimate our audience size and better understand usage patterns.
  • Store information about your preferences, enabling us to customize the Sites according to your individual interests.
  • Speed up your searches.
  • Recognize you when you return to the Sites.


DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We do not sell, trade, share or transfer your personal information to third parties except in the following limited circumstances:


  • We may disclose a guest’s personal information to a person who, in the reasonable judgment of Aisling Baile, is seeking the information as an agent of the guest, for example, a travel agent who is booking a reservation on behalf of the guest.
  • Personal information will be shared with a third party involved in supplying the guest with the services they have purchased to the extent necessary.
  • Personal information may be shared with a third party retained by Aisling Baile to perform functions on its behalf such as reservations handling, data processing or storage, guest surveys or research, and/or guest screening & verification processes.
  • Personal information may be shared with an agent retained by Aisling Baile to evaluate a customer’s credit worthiness or in order to collect a customer’s past due account.
  • Personal information may be shared with a public authority or an agent of a public authority if in the reasonable judgment of Aisling Baile it appears that there is an imminent danger to life or property which could be avoided or minimized by disclosure of the information, or which disclosure is compelled by legal authority.
  • Personal information may be shared with a public authority or an agent of a public authority’s if required by law, warrant or other compelling legal authority requiring such information.


Any such disclosure of a guest’s personal information by Aisling Baile to a third party will be made only on a confidential basis conditioned upon the information being used only for the purpose for which it has been disclosed.


SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We will maintain your personal information in secure data storage to safeguard it from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. We will maintain the strict confidentiality of all personal information collected, and will only disclose such information to employees and service providers of Aisling Baile who require such information for the purposes set out above. We have entered into agreements with our service providers to safeguard the personal information in their possession. We will only keep your personal information for as long as it remains necessary or relevant for the purposes stated above or as otherwise required by law.


MINORS UNDER THE AGE OF 18

Minors under 18 years of age may not make a reservation for a Unit (although minors under 18 years of age may stay with a guest who is 18 years or older in accordance with the Terms). No one under age 13 may provide any information on or through the Sites or any other Aisling Baile Service. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information on or through any of the Aisling Baile Services or any of its features on the Sites, and do not use any of the interactive or public comment features of the Sites or any of the other Aisling Baile Services or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address or any screen name or user name you may use. If we learn we have collected or received personal data from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information.
